We are also committed, in the power of God’s grace, to allow God’s Word to mold and transform us into the congregation and individuals that the Triune God of creation desires us to become. This encompasses both young and old and is accomplished through the power of the Holy Spirit working through the living Word of God. We’re all about helping teens build relationships that change lives through the “180 turn” the Lord does in our lives through the cross. It is a safe place for students — no matter what their church background looks like — to ask questions, have fun, learn how to tackle real-life issues, and explore faith. In baptism, the Holy Spirit and faith are given as a gift from God. Confirmation is then the time for a child to confirm this gift of faith as their own. In this class they will study the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostles Creed, and the meaning of the sacraments. The main textbook for this class is the Word of God.
